Effective People Management (2 days)

Introduction

This hands-on workshop encourages participants to take responsibility for their own learning using an action-learning methodology in a series of stimulating exercises, role-plays and case studies.

You will also have time to reflect on your personal managerial style, and will go back to work with a fresh perspective on people management. Then take with you an action plan to help you put into practice what you have learned.

Catriona is a lead trainer for the Leadership
and Personal Performance workshops at the
Proessional Development Unit.


Catriona’s recent work has been in the UK,
where she was Training Director for a successful
company before leaving to set up her own
training and education consultancy. Her company
delivered soft skills and management training
alongside bespoke programmes for institutions
and private companies.


Her work in Asia has included; training teachers for
Ministry of Education in Cambodia; developing
teaching methods with university lecturers in Vietnam
and a comprehensive training programme for
Chiang Mai International Airport staff.

Her approach to training focuses on achieving postive
outcomes for both individuals and organisations. Her
training utilises coaching skills and new approaches
such as neuro-linguistic programming to affect
behavioural change.
