MSC Malaysia Undergraduate Apprenticeship and Development Programme (UGRAD)
UGRAD is specifically designed to facilitate high quality and on the job training for undergraduates during their apprenticeship or industry attachment. Selected MSC Malaysia status companies with robust internal training programmes will mentor the undergraduates for a period of 2 to 6 months. Upon completion, UGRAD trainees have high chances of being absorbed by participating companies.
This programme is targeted at IHL undergraduates during their industrial attachment. Besides preparing students with the right skills for the right jobs, the participating companies would also provide a minimum allowance of RM500 per intern per month for the duration of internship. MDeC will reimburse the participating companies the allowances paid to the trainees (a maximum of RM500 per month for a maximum of six months).
The participating companies are given priority to absorb the trainees upon completion of the programme.

Programme Details
- Duration: Maximum of 6 months (9am-5pm on a daily basis from Monday to Friday)
- When - During internship period.
- Location – At participating companies.
- Food, accommodation & transport cost - To be borne by undergraduates.
Trainee Requirements
- Malaysian undergraduates from relevant faculties
- With a minimum CGPA of 2.5
- Passed the pre-assessment evaluation by KDI.
